Eyeglasses...

A pair of eyeglasses, with simple metal rims. The wearer sees as if he or she were standing twenty feet ahead of their current location, in the same direction faced. This has a slightly telescoping effect, but also allows the wearer to see fine detail from a distance. There are no known side-effects to wearing the glasses, otherwise.
